14th May, 1897.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to declare and amend the law of Partnership", and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

This Ordinance is practically a transcript of the Partnership Act 1890 in force in England. The objects and Reasons are annexed to this Report.
